2013 赵后钰赵后钰[xw_zhy@] 上海汉得信息技术股份有限公司 2013-10-10 BIEE11g 核心开发人员指南核心开发人员指南(译译)之三之三 BIEE10g 升级至升级至 11g BIEE10G 升级至升级至 BIEE11G 目标目标 本教程介绍如何使用 Oracle 中间件升级助手升级 Oracle10g 至 11g 的环境 课时课时 1 小时. 概要概要 本教程逐步介绍使用 Oracle 中间件升级助手升级现有的 Oracle BIEE，企业版 10g 第 3 版（ 10.1.3.2 或更 高版本）的环境，升级至一台 WINDOWS 环境的 BIEE 11G 版本将会讲解如何升级 OBI 资料库，表示层 目录以及 BI Publisher 资料库 本教程使用 10G 中“Sales”例子进行升级，也涵盖 11G 部分特性，需要考虑 升级后的部分配置 条件条件 教程开始前，需做如下准备：  已经安装完成并可以访问 BIEE11G 环境  可以访问 BIEE 10G 环境“销售”资料库以及 web 目录元数据；也可以从 OTN 下载样例数据，本教程会展 示升级样本数据从 10G 至 11G  下载“”到本地；解压到“ D:\Repository” 1.装载装载销售数据销售数据 在本步骤，在 BIEE11G 环境安装下载的样本数据；执行如下步骤： 1、从“Oracle Technology Network (OTN)”下载样例数据（Sales）文件包 “oracle_bi_sample_analysis_setup_files.zip”，解压到“D:\SampleSales” 2、解压数据包，会看到如下文件： Sample_Sales_V1.3_Dataset.zip Sample_Sales_V1.3_Readme.txt Sample_Sales_V1.3_Webcat.zip samplesales.rpd 3、从压缩包“Sample_Sales_V1.3 Webcat.zip”提出文件到“D:\SampleSales”子文件夹。

本例， 解压在“D:\SampleSales\Sample_Sales_V1.3_Webcat\samplesales”目录， 包括 10G 的演示 目录 4、创建一个新的目录，名称“D:\SampleSales\Sample_Sales_V1.3_Webcat”； 10G 中仪表盘目录是个特殊的目录，默认情况下在“OracleBIData\web\catalog”，大多情况下此目 录是空的；如果此目录不可以，可以任意空目录作为升级目录； 5、“Sample_Sales_V1.3_Dataset.zip”包含 BI 仪表盘显示的 XML 格式样本数据 解压“Sample_Sales_V1.3_Dataset.zip”到如下目录 “%MIDDLEWARE_HOME%\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIServerC omponent\ coreapplication_obis1\server\Sample” 将创建新的目录存放 XML 文件； 注意： 必须创建两个目录服务器， 所有样本数据 XML 文件保存相对路径 本例，数据集放置到： D:\bi\instances\instance\bifoundation\OracleBIServerComponent\ coreapplication_obis\server\Sample\samplesales 6、samplesales.rpd 是 10G 版本资料库文件，保存在“D:\SampleSales.”目录。

2.升级升级BIEE资料库和目录资料库和目录（升级向导）（升级向导） 升级销售样本资料库以及目录，请执行如下升级助手请注意，weblogic 服务以及管理服务在升级过 程中保存运行状态 1． 导航到ORACLE安装目录 “ORACLE_HOME\bin” ， 在本例目录为 “D:\bi\Oracle_BI1\bin” 2．双击点击“ua.bat ”文件，打开升级助手本教程，介绍如何使用用户界面模式升级，还可以使用 命令进行升级若了解更多信息，请查看““Using the Upgrade Assistant Command-Line Interface“ in Oracle Fusion Middleware Upgrade Planning Guide. ” 3.点击“Next” 4.在 “Specify Operation” 界面， 选择 “Upgrade Oracle BI RPD and Presentation Catalog” 点击“Next” 5.在“Specify Source Details”界面，选择“ Upgrade Repository (RPD)” 6.点击“Browse”下一步到“RPD File” 7.浏览到 10G 版本销售样本资料库文件，点击“ Open”，在本例，路径为 “D:\SampleSales\samplesales.rpd” 8.“samplesales.rpd”文件路径被添加“RPD File” 9. 8. 9. Enter the Administrator User Name and Administrator Password for the 10g samplesales repository. In this example, the username and password are both Administrator. 10 . Enter and confirm a password that will be used to secure the upgraded 11g repository. This password is required for 11g repositories. It does not have to match the 10g repository password or any other password. In this example, the password is welcome1. 11 . Select Upgrade Catalog. 12 . Click Browse next to the Catalog Directory field. 13 . Browse to the location of the 10g version of the Sample Sales presentation catalog and click Open. In this example the path is D:\SampleSales\Sample_Sales_V1.3_Webcat\samplesales. 14 . The path to the Sample Sales presentation catalog is added to the Catalog Directory field. The path to thedeliveries directory is automatically added to the Catalog Deliveries Directory field. 15 . Click Next to continue. 16 . On the Specify WebLogic Server screen, enter the WebLogic Admin Server port number. Typically the port number is 7001. 17 . Enter the username and password for the WebLogic Admin Server. In this example, it is weblogic/welcome1. 18 . Click Next to continue. 19 . On the Examining Components screen, wait until you see a succeeded message. During the examination process, Upgrade Assistant checks whether the source directory exists, the source directory is readable, and contains a file for upgrade. 20 . Click Next to continue. 21 . On the Upgrade Summary screen, review the summary of the upgrade to be performed. 22 . Click Upgrade to start the upgrade process. 23 . On the Upgrading Components screen, you can view the upgrade progress. BI components are stopped and restarted. The Sample Sales presentation catalog and repository are loaded. 24 . When the upgrade completes the status changes to succeeded. If there are errors during the upgrade, inspect the log files for details. The log files are located in \upgrade\logs\ua.log where is the current date and time. You can also check the component log files in directories organized by component under \diagnostics\logs. 25 . Click Next to continue. 26 . On the Upgrade Success screen, review information related to the upgrade task and click Close. 3.升级验证升级验证 升级向导自动装载新的资料库到 BIEE11G，重启 BI 组件。

通过 BIEE 系统日志可以验证 BIEE 是否成功升 级，确认 BIEE 组件正常运行，检查资料库中元数据以及验证、查看仪表盘和报表 验证升级，执行如下步骤：  验证 BI 系统组件  验证资料库元数据  验证报表和仪表盘 3.1 验证验证 BI 系统组件系统组件 1.在浏览器，输入 http://localhost:7001/em，登录到 FDC 2.在左边面板，展开“Business Intelligence coreapplication” 3.在右边面板，选择“Overview ”页，确认系统组件可用 4.选择“Deployment ”页 选择“Repository ”子选项页，此页面显示当前安装存储库注意，自动升级助手上传升级资料库到 BIEE 域本例，资料库名称为“samplesales_BI0002” 3.2 验证资料库元数据验证资料库元数据 1.选择“Start Programs Oracle Business Intelligence BI Administration” 打开管理工具 2.选择“File Open Online”模式打开资料库 3.输入资料库用。
