or否则，或者表示选择，如果两个分句的语气为一个肯定，一个否定，则应用or连接but但是表示转折，but与though／although不能同时用在一个句子中so所以表示结果，由so连接的并列句可转换成because引导的主从复合句，两者不能同时用在一个句子中表示“因为……所以……”for因为表示原因，是对另一个分句的补充说明，但不能放在句子的开头3.复合句由一个主句和一个或一个以上的从句构成复合句包含：状语从句，名词性从句，主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句和定语从句等三种二、方式副词 在英语中我们常常见到一类表示动作行为的词汇，也就是方式副词大部分的方式副词都是以ly结尾比如：quietly, heavily, carefully, happily, warmly, correctly, politely, angrily等 方式副词通常位于动词（及其宾语）之后 方式副词（主要是单个的方式副词）有时也可位于主语与动词之间 方式副词通常不放在动词与宾语之间1.They bought Granny a present ____ she liked it very much.
