Why do you like the animal？开始。然后以观看视频 Going to the zoo,引入话题。对于文中出现的一些动物单词，不是纯粹的单词教学，而是通过 Guessing game和图片展示来教授新单词，并利用单词图片中进行句型操练，如展示北极熊图片的时候，除了教授单词polar bear，还提出问题:Does the polar bear come from Asia?No, it doesnt. It comes from the Arctic.单词与提出的问题由浅入深，让学生言之有物，有话可说，达到开口说英语的目的。课文中第一部分 Loot at the pictures. Which animals can you see?我不是让学生翻开书来直接找答案，而是设计为 Challenge

4、your memory. 快速展示图片，让学生说出所看到的动物，这样可以提高学生的注意力。在巩固环节，我设计了小组竞赛活动。每组派一名同学出来，背对着黑板站着，让小组的组员2利用学过的内容来介绍图中的动物，站着的同学来猜。这一设计环节能让学生学以致用，气氛活跃，收到了预期的教学效果。课文第二部分 Listen and check，我设计为听录音，写单词的形式，让学生填写的单词都与动物有关，达到了巩固的目的。课文第三部分 Listen and read,设计为表格形式，根据问题提示来获取信息，把难度降低，使学生直观、形象地了解课文内容。总的来说，教学过程中突出听说课的特点，以各种的教学方法激发学生的兴趣，提高学生的参与能力和学习的积极性，让学生在轻松愉快的环境中愉快学英语，以顺利完成教学任务。七、 教学过程Step 1.
