They are used for seeing in the dark.be used for doing sth. 意为 “被用来做某事”,与be used to do sth. 同义,表示用途、目的。

      e.g. This computer is used to control all the machines. 3. Think about how often it’s used in our daily lives.think about 意为“考虑,想起”拓展】think of 意为“考虑,记起”;think sth. out 意为“想通,想出”e.g. He is thinking about traveling in the summer holidays.
