We would like to invite you to participate and support the Contest and Award Dinner. The goals of the Contest are to promote the use of websites for dissemination of government, community and local resources to the Chinese American community. The benefits to business and local organizations include enhancement of corporate image and expansion of markets to Chinese community. All colleges and universities have been encouraged to participate in the contest. The theme is “Chinese Americans in California—Business or Community Services.” CCeR is a nonprofit 501(c)3 community service organization, established in April 2000. Funding obtained by CCeR is used solely to maintain its operations and provide community service. Currently, CCeR has two bilingual Chinese-English websites, www.SacramentoC and www.CaliforniaC Our contest Award Dinner will be held at the New Canton Seafood Restaurant, 2523 Broadway, Sacramento CA 95818, on Dec. 5, 2004, at 5:00pm. The contest winners will be announced, and the winning designs will be presented by our panel of distinguished judges from local high-tech companies and universities. Our Keynote Speaker Dr. Kenneth Fong, is founder and president of Clontech Lab and Kenson Ventures. Local business leaders, college and university faculty and students will attend the award ceremony.
