1、 定语从句1. 含义：在复合句中修饰某一名词或代词的从句。通常置于它修饰的名词或代词之后。eg.I like music that I can dance to . I prefer music that has great lyrics. Carmen likes musicians who play different kinds of music. Carmen likes electronic music that is loud. Xu Fei prefers groups that play quiet and slow songs.2.上面句子中的music / musicians/groups是先行词(定语从句所修饰的词)。3.that / who 是关系词 (连接先行词和定语从句，同时又作定语从句的一个成分)。其中，关系词分为关系代词（that,which,who, whom) 和关系副词（where，when, why)5.注意事项:(1)关系代词作定语从句的主语时，从句的谓语动词要与先行词的数保持一致。eg. Tom knows the teachers who

I have a friend who plays sports.(2)定语从句中只用that,而不用which的几种情况。先行词被序数词或形容词最高级所修饰,或本身是序数词、基数词、形容词最高级时，例如： eg.He was the first person that passed the exam. 被修饰的先行词为all, any, much, many, everything, anything, none, the one等不定代词时, 例如: eg. Is there anything that you want to buy in the shop? 先行词被the only, the very, the same, the last, little, few 等词修饰时,例如：eg. This is the same bike that I lost.先行词里同时含有人或物时, 只能用that, 而不用which。eg.I can remember well the persons and some pictures that
