What can you learn from the way a child learns to speak? It is interesting to see how babies and young children learn to talk. They learn from people around them. They learn by repeating what they have heard. And they learn through trial and error. When they first say a word, use a phrase or make a sentence, they would most likely do it wrong. But they are not "afraid" of such errors. They would keep trying, making adjustments in the process, until they could make sense.    From the way a child learns to speak, I can learn a lot as far as language learning is concerned.
