如：黄龙洞的英译名为Yellow Dragon Cave，其中“黄” 对应 “yellow”，“龙”对应“dragon”，“洞”对应 “cave”西湖景点名称的翻译方法 2．意译意译的译名较为确切，能较好地体现地名和景点名中包含的意思，让游客大致了解此景点与何人，何事有关，传达最大量的文化信息当然，采用意译法时千万不能不加考证，望文生“译”，结果导致译名经不起推敲，游客产生文化误解或曲解例如：平湖秋月 Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake曲苑风荷 Lotus in the Breeze at Crooked Courtyard西湖景点名称的翻译方法 3．异化翻译(alienation)在TL( target language) 中保留SL (source language)中的文化色彩，给受众以“异域”之风格旅游景点名称的翻译采用汉语拼音标注的方法，也属于“异化翻译”：以源语言文本的语言和内容为归依尊重文本的异域性并将这种异域性移植到目标语中[5]在景点名称翻译中“异化翻译”能再现原文的表达方式，不仅丰富和完善了译文的表达力，而且人们更能通过读译文了解他国文化，进行异国旅游，更真切地感受认识异国他乡，大大促进文化交流，从而实现了翻译的本质。
