17页八、副 词,副词是用来修饰动词、形容词、其他副词以及整句话的词汇,表示时间、地点、程度、方式等考点一 副词的分类及用法 一、副词的分类 1. 时间副词 (1)表示何时: ①现在时间:now; today等; ②过去时间:yesterday; last. . . ; just now; in 2001(类似时间); . . . ago等; ③将来时间:tomorrow; next. . . ; tonight; soon; in 2 days(类似短语)等; ④已完成:before; so far; in the past 3 years(类似短语)等2)表示频度: always; usually; often; sometimes; seldom; hardly; never; every; once/twice/three times a week等 (3)其他时间关系: already; yet; again; finally; at last; in the end; at once; at first; first of all等2. 地点副词 here; there; home; everywhere; near; away; across; inside; outside; upstairs; downstairs; around; in; out等。
【提醒】地点副词用于动词后,前面不能加to例如:go home; arrive there3. 程度副词 主要用于修饰形容词、副词和动词,有的副词也可修饰比较级(如much),个别副词可修饰名词(如quite) 常见程度副词(词组)much; so; too; a little; a bit; enough; rather; quite; almost; even; just; still; nearly; only; very等 4. 疑问副词 用于特殊疑问句中表示疑问常见疑问副词:when; where; why; how; how many; how much; how far; how long; how often; how soon等5. 关系副词 引导定语从句(如when; where; why) 6. 连接副词 引导定语从句(如when; how; why; whether等) 7. 方式副词 用于回答“how”问句,大部分由形容词 + ly构成(如easily; quickly; slowly; heavily)常见方式副词,如well; hard; together; politely; suddenly等。
形容词变为副词 1. 一般直接加-ly:quick― quickly; bad― badly 2. 个别以e结尾的去e加-ly:true― truly 3. 以y结尾且发音为(i)的把y变为i再加-ly;若读音为(ai),则直接加-ly:happy― happily; heavy― heavily; angry― angrily; shy― shyly; dry― dryly 4. 结尾是辅音字母加le的形容词去e加y:terrible―terribly; possible―possibly; probable―probably二、副词的用法 1. 作状语,修饰动词、形容词、其他副词、介词短语或全句例如: Some children are playing soccer happily in the park. 一些孩子在公园里高兴地踢足球 Your idea sounds really nice. 你的主意听起来真不错 2. 作表语或定语,一般是表示地点或位置的副词有些表示时间的副词也可用作后置定语 My brother lives upstairs. 我弟弟住在楼上 People there are very friendly. 那儿的人们很友好。
3. 作宾语补足语 The teacher didn’t let me in because I was late. 老师不让我进去是因为我迟到了 【提醒】感官动词feel, sound, look, smell, taste等后接形容词,不用副词 —Why does Jack look unhappy? ——杰克为什么看上去不开心? —Because he feels sorry for his test result. ——因为他对他的测试结果感到伤心考点二 副词的比较等级 1. 一般副词在词前加more/most变为比较级/最高级 clearly—more clearly—most clearly; easily—more easily—most easily 2. 少数既可作形容词也可作副词的在词尾加-er/-est hard—harder—hardest; fast—faster—fastest 3. 副词比较等级的使用类似于形容词的比较等级的用法,但副词最高级前一般不用定冠词the Zhao Gang comes to school earliest every day. 赵刚每天最早到学校。
