2、时用不定式，常见的有：ability，chance，idea，fact，excuse，promise，answer，reply，attempt，belief，way，reason，moment，time等,Do you have the ability to read and write in English?,I have no chance to go sightseeing.,He said he had no plans to go there.,分词作定语,比较：,boiling water,boiled water,falling leaves,fallen leaves,developing countries,developed countries,前置定语：形容词 现在分词表正在进行 过去分词表被完成,比较：,an exciting voice,an excited voice,a puzzling expression,a puzzled expression,英语中有些表示感觉的动词，其现在分词形式表示“令人的”，过去分词表示“感到的”,现在分词作后置定语表示与被修饰的先行词是主动关系,There is a lady asking to see you.,The girl sitting by my side is my cousin.,Here is a map showing you how to get to the railway station.,The houses being built are for the teachers.,过去分词作后置定语表示与被修饰的先行词是被动关系,Things lost never come again.,Have you read the novel written by Dickens?,The glass broken by my son has been swept away.,The speaker answered all the questions raised by the audience.,
