He searched carefully.search 是动词,意思为“搜查,搜寻,搜索”。search sb/sth/sp 意思为“ 搜查某人,某物,某地”。search for sth/sb 意思为“寻找或搜索某人某物(有具体目标)” 相当于“look for”e.g. 1. They _ the house/hill. 他们搜查了这个房子/山。2. They _ _ him last week. 上周他们寻找他。( ) 3. The police are _ the woods _the lost children.
