1、英语国家概况课程教学大纲A Survey of Great Britain and America【课程名称】英语国家概况【课程代码】 00732201【课程学分】2【参考学时】2 学时16周 = 32课时【讲授学时】32【课程性质】专业必修课【参考教材】来安方 编著，英美文化与国家概况，复旦大学出版社，2008.【课程基础】具备中等水平以上的英语听说、阅读理解和写作能力。【适应对象】英语语言文学专业学生。【考核方式】闭卷【教学目的】英语国家概况是英语本科生必修的一门专业课。该课程的开设旨在使学生通过 本课程的学习，能够较为全面地了解英美两国的政治、经济、地理、教育、宗教、历史和文化等的概貌，有助于学生更好地提高运用和理解英语的能力，避免由于文化知识的缺失而导致的语用失误，最终达到帮助学生了解英美文化的基本现状和演变过程，力求把握英美文化的内在特质。 进一步促进英语语言学习，全面提升学生的听、说、读、写、译的综合英语技能。【内容提要】本课程课程内容设计结构清晰，共分为两大部分，及英国部分和美国部分，用一个学年的时间完成，重点介绍英美两国的社会与文化知识，诸如历史、地理、政治、经济、社会
