One of the Zhengbang Group's main businesses is agriculture, including pig breeding, pig products, feed, veterinary drugs, and animal product processing. The other is planting, including plant breeding, fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural and forestry cultivation, processing, and marketing. Feed processing for the group is conducted by Jiangxi Zhengbang Technology Co. Ltd., which was established in July 2004. In 2003 and 2004, the group successfully conducted several acquisitions and mergers, increasing revenue and total assets. In August 2007, Jiangxi Zhengbang Technology was listed on the Shenzhen stock market, making it the first private enterprise listed from Jiangxi province. In April 2008, Zhengbang Agricultural Development Corporation was established. The group reported revneue of $4.0 billion in 2012.
