    • 宜宾龙文学校英语组课题研究教学设计设计人杜 卓 话题Transport——The Titanic 功能培养学生正确认识人类与自然的关系,以及灾难面前人性光辉的意识任务使用思维导图去阅读文章,并且构建文章文本解读与分析1.整体设计思路和理念:通过有兴趣的话题使学生喜悦地去阅读,并且用思维导图培养学生归纳总结分析的阅读能力2.教学背景分析:本模块( Transport)共三篇文章,主要通过谈论交通工具的使用中所发生的的一些有趣的事情或者震撼性的事件,来增加学生主动阅读的欲望学习内容与学生实际联系紧密,具有一定的实践意义本课时属于这一话题的第二篇文章,主要介绍泰坦尼克号沉没事件(The Titanic)本篇文章属于一篇泛读课文,主要谈论了辉煌的泰坦尼克号在处女航行时遇上冰山最终沉没的过程全文分为三部分,第一部分,主要介绍了泰坦尼克号的背景知识;第二部分主要介绍了泰坦尼克号“出发—撞击冰山——沉没”的过程本课内容丰富,信息量大培养学生正确认识人类与自然的关系,灾难面前人性光辉的意识,灾难面前能够向他人伸出援助之手的勇气和精神本课施教对象是八年级的学生,已经有了一定的英语阅读基础,本课时是本话题“Transport”的第二课时,内容较为复杂。

      学生对泰坦尼克号这一事件了解最多的部分是关于Jack 和 Rose的爱情故事,对泰坦尼克号这个真是事件本身了解较少,因此对此话题比较感兴趣,有强烈的求知欲通过“悦读”学生能用英语谈论泰坦尼克号事件发生的过程,同时也具有一定的英语阅读策略和技巧3.教学目标知识技能Guess the main idea of the articlePredict what the article is about by watching the title and picturesFind out the main idea of each paragraphSkimming: look through the article quickly, read the first and last sentence of each paragraph.Finish the Mind-mapUnderstand the information of the article by using the reading tips of scanning, careful reading.Retell the storyGet to know what happened to the Titanic.4.教学重点、难点分析:Understand the long sentences;Predict what the article is about by watching the title and picture;Use the skills of skimming and scanning,careful reading to read the article;Understand how to use Mind-map to read the article;Retell the story by using Mind-map.5.教学过程设计教学步骤预时教师活动学生活动设计意图步骤1:Pre-reading( 5分钟)1. Lead-in Play a song---My Heart Will Go On.T: Have you heard this song before?/Do you know this song?Where is it from?Yes, it’s from a very famous movie.What’s the movie’s name?It’s the Titanic. It’s a movie and also it’s a real event. Do you know this event? OK, today let’s learn something about this real event.2. Introduce the information about the Titanic.T: What’s this ? Who are they?(Show the pictures of a boat , Jack and Rose)Is this Titanic?Why not?As far as I know, the Titanic is like this(show the picture of Titanic), what’s your feeling when you see the Titanic?(Choose some students to answer.)It was the biggest, heaviest in the world, and it was strong and powerful. And the most important thing is : it was the most luxurious in the world.(Explain “luxurious”---very expensive, beautiful and comfortable, show some pictures) So, the people were excited to travel by this ship. Now let’s watch a video.T: What’s this? It’s a very old ship, where is it? Is this Titanic? The luxurious ship became so old. What happened to the Titanic?       学生目前所了解到的有关泰坦尼克号的信息(Jack和Rose之间的爱情故事),让学生敢于通过“说”的方式进入话题,并且对话题产生兴趣,带着喜悦的心情阅读步骤2:While-reading( 30分钟)1. 通过看图与标题猜测文章大意2. 教学生们使用skimming阅读技巧归纳段落大意3. 教学生们使用思维导图来理解并复述“What happened to the Titanic?”T: We know the Titanicwas really fantastic, butwhat happened to theTitanic?
