Section A 1a-2b 一、教材分析本单元的教学核心项目是“描述人的外貌”(Describe People),涉及到讨论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及其着装等语言项目教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开,让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点,以人的外貌特征为主线,兼顾交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征这些内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,所以在学习活动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊二.教学目标:I.知识与技能:1.Master the new words and phrases in this part. 2. Practice listening and speaking skillsII.过程与方法 : Autonomous learning and cooperative investigation.III.情感态度与价值观:学会观察和描述周围的人物,学会友好地描述别人的形象,互相了解,增进友谊。

      三.教学重点及难点重点:Master some new words, phrases, and know some structures.难点:掌握正确运用have动词和be动词描述人物外貌的方法四、学情分析: 本班的学生经过半年多的英语学习,有了一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读 写的能力;同时,学生们对英语学习有着较浓厚的兴趣经过新课程理念的熏陶及实践,有了初步的自主、合作、探究的能力五、教法渗透: 1、教学设计思路:《新目标英语》中的具体语言目标是通过各种各样的Tasks来实现的;学生需要运用具体而特定的行动来完成一定的交际任务因此本节课将始终引导学生通过完成具体的任务活动来学习语言,让学生为了特定的学习目的去实施特定的语言行动,通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验,让学生在用中学,在学中用(Learning by using, learning for using) 2、教学方式和手段: 任务型教学法、多媒体辅助教学、情景交际教学法等 3、学习方法指导:本节课将在课堂活动中把学生分成学习小组,小组内分成互助小组,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。

A few Ss answer the ueations.由学生喜爱的明星自然引入本节课话题Step 3 Presenta- tion:一:Show the vedio of Pan Changjiang and the photos of Yao Ming and the music of Li YUgang to introduce height .use three students to practice.二:Show three photos to introduce biuld .Use simply drawings to practice.三:show the photos of the teacher’s family to introduce hairstyle ask the students to talk about their hairstyle. Watch and listenit carefully. Answer the questions freely according to the vedio ,the music and the photos.Describe the three students.Watch and listen carefully and answer the questions. Talk about the build by using the simply drawings.talk about their hairstyle.以学生感兴趣的视频材料、歌曲、明星照片和教师的家庭照分别引出身高、体型和发型的描述方法,提高了学生的学习兴趣,同时利用学生本身和简笔画对所学新语言点加以巩固运用。

What does he\she looke like?He \She is …He\She has…通过让学生小组谈论身边的朋友的外貌,在复习运用了所学语言点的同时,又增进了友谊.增强了合作意识Step 5Group workLet the students work in groups to make a sitcom, each group choose one to finish. Then ask two groups to act out. Work in groups to make a sitcom. Two groups come to the front to act out.通过小组活动,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。

      Step 6Match the words with the picturesLet the studentsFinish activity 1a.All students finish the exercise, check the answers in group,and then two students come to the front to check the answers. 通过课本活动1a,让学生巩固所学新知,组内合作交流,学生订正答案,多方训练学生能力Step 7 listening.       指导听力技巧Step 8Writing Play a guesing game.Let the students write down some sentences to describe their best friend. Others guess who he\she is.
