Unit 4 Anti-Theft System,The anti-theft alarm system is a vehicle protection device which sounds an alarm when someone intrudes into the vehicle by opening a door or the engine hood or the tailgate/luggage compartment lid. Its electrical control parts location is shown in Fig. 3-4-1. 1. System Phases The system phases of the anti-theft alarm system refer to disarmed phrase, pre-armed phrase, armed phrase, alarm disarmed phrase, disarmed phrase (When any door, engine hood or trunk lid is opened). The initial condition is closing all doors, hood and trunk lid. The system turns into the “pre-armed” phase when all doors，hood and trunk lid are closed and locked by key or multi-remote controller. (The security indicator lamp illuminates.) After about 30 seconds, the system automatically shifts into the “armed” phase. The security indicator lamp blinks every 2.4 seconds. When the following each operation is performed, the alarm operation of the system is activated. For example, engine hood, trunk lid or any door is opened before unlocking door with key or multi-remote controller, or door is unlocked without using key or multi-remote controller, or trunk lid key cylinder is removed by being punched. When unlock the doors with the key or multi-remote controller or open the trunk lid with the key, the armed phase is canceled. When the trunk lid is closed after opening the trunk lid with the key, the system returns to the armed phase. 2. Alarm Operation The anti-theft alarm system is triggered by opening a door, the trunk lid, the hood, removing trunk lid key cylinder, unlocking door without using the key or multi-remote controller. Once the theft warning system will be triggered. The headlamps flash and the horn sounds intermittently, and the starting system is interrupted. The alarm automatically turns off after 2 or 3 minutes but will reactivate if the vehicle is tampered with again.,disconnect 断开 anti-theft alarm system 防盗报警系统 interrupt 切断 tampered 干扰,,To activate the anti-theft alarm system, the BCM must receive signals indicating the doors, hood and trunk lid are closed and the doors are locked. When a door is open, BCM terminal receives a ground signal from each door switch. When the hood is open, BCM terminal receives a ground signal from terminal of the hood switch through body grounds. When the trunk lid is open, BCM terminal receives a ground signal from terminal of the trunk room lamp switch through body grounds. When the trunk lid key cylinder is removed by being punched, BCM terminal receives a ground signal from removed tamper switch. When the doors are locked with key or multi-remote controller and none of the described conditions exist, the theft warning system will automatically shift to armed phase. Deactivate the System To deactivate the anti-theft alarm system, a door or the trunk lid must be unlocked with the key or remote controller. When the key is used to unlock a door, LCU01/02 terminal receives a ground signal from terminal of the door key cylinder switch.
