輔仁大學外國籍學生獎學金申請辦法 中 華 民 國 9 2 年 1 0 月 1 5 日 訂 定 中 華 民 國 9 6 年 4 月 9 日 第 一 次 修 正 一、依據「教育部補助大專校院及其附設華語文教學機構設置外國學生獎學金核撥作業規定」，為獎勵優秀外國籍學生，特設立本辦法 二、金 額：每名新臺幣伍萬元整 三、名 額： 1.依據教育部外國籍學生獎學金補助款金額決定若有餘額則增加乙名，其不足之金額由本校預算支付 2.本獎學金依本校外籍生就讀本校各學院人數比率分配予各學院相對名額 四、申請資格： 1.限具正式學籍之外籍生(不含僑生、交換學生)，從一年級下學期起得申請本獎學金 2.上學期學業成績：研究所(每學期至少四學分)75 分、大學部(每學期至少六學分)70 分；操行成績八十分以上 3.上課出席情況正常(請假、缺課時數不得超過總時數 1/5) 4.未領取其他獎助學金 五、申請文件： 1.申請書(如附件) 2.上學期成績單 3.護照影本 4. 師長推薦函(格式不拘) 六、申請時間：每學年九月下旬及三月中旬，文件備齊後逕交所屬學院祕書處辦理 七、獎學金之核定： 1.由各學院組織公平客觀之委員會審核學生資格，挑選最優秀學生，並依分配名額推薦優先順序人選。

2. 對同一國籍受獎人數限定不超過總名額之三分之一數，以使受獎國籍普及 3.生輔組彙整各院推薦名單後簽由學務長核定 八、本辦法由學務長核定，修正時亦同 Application Method of Fu Jen University Scholarships for International Students Article 1 The Application Method of the Fu Jen University Scholarship for International Students (hereafter referred to as the Scholarship) is established in accord with the “Memorandum on Subsidy of Scholarships for International Students Studying at Mandarin Language Centers Affiliated to Universities and Colleges.” The Scholarship is established to encourage outstanding international students to study in Taiwan. Article 2 The amount of the Scholarship is NTD50,000 for each recipient. Article 3 Quota 1. The quota of the Scholarship shall be decided by the amount subsidized by the MOE. Pending on the surplus of the subsidy received, scholarship for one more student may be granted. 2. The number of recipients for each college within the university shall be decided by the ratio of international students in each college. Article 4 Qualification: 1. Applicants should have the identity of an international student (overseas Chinese students and exchange students are excluded) and are eligible to apply the scholarship from or after the spring semester of the freshman year. 2. Applicants must have an academic record of a grade point of at least 75 (with at least 4 credits per semester) for graduate students and a grade point of at least 70 (with at least 6 credits per semester) for undergraduates. They also have to have a scoring of at least 80 in Conduct. 3. Applicants have to attend classes regularly. (Leave and skippings should not exceed more than 1/5 of the total class hours.) 4. Applicants should not receive other scholarships. Article 5 Documents required for application: 1. Application form (as attached) 2. Official transcript of the academic record 3. Copy of the passport 4. Recommendation Letters (no regulated format) Article 6 Application Time: Applicants should prepare all the required documents and hand them to the Secretariat of each college in mid-September for the fall semester and mid-March for the spring semester. Article 7 Evaluation and approval of Scholarship 1. A Selection Committee for the Scholarship will be formed in each college. The Committee shall select the most outstanding students and decide on a priority list of the candidates of scholarship recipients according to the quota assigned. 2. In order that there should be an equal distribution among different nations, number of recipients from the same country shall not exceed 1/3 of the total number of recipients. 3. The Division of Student Guidance, Office of Student Affairs will compile the priority list from all colleges and submit the final list to the Dean of Student Affairs for approval. Article 8 To take effect, this Method must be approved by the Dean of Student Affairs.
