In this unit, we will learn about different varieties of science fiction, such as artificial intelligence, alien, time travel and space exploration etc. and have a better understanding about science fiction. Just as Isaac Asimov said, “Today’s science fiction is tomorrow’s science fact.”, it is hoped that through a series of activities in watching, listening, speaking, reading and writing, we’ll learn and explore more about artificial intelligence, alien, time travel and space exploration. Moreover, we can not only enrich our knowledge and broaden our horizon, but also have a deep thinking about the pros and cons of AI and the relationship between science and science fiction. Furthermore, we can improve the scientific imagination, explore the unknown places bravely and make the science serve humans. 【课标要求】核心素养课标要求语言能力语言知识语音能够认识并掌握话语标记,并能够结合自己已有知识,恰当的在口语交际中运用话语标记组织语言。

      词汇能正确使用与“科幻小说”主题相关的词和词块来理解和表达语法能够理解并正确运用过去进行和过去完成时态的被动语态语篇1.阅读分析科幻作品,提取故事发展情节和叙述线索,理解科幻作品的题材特点以及体裁特征;2.阅读分析叙事语篇中的细节描述,掌握修辞手法,理解其在增强细节、刻画人物形象等方面的作用语用能够大胆想象,编写符合逻辑的科幻故事语言技能听听电台播出的一段科幻作品专家的访谈节目,听取大意,理解说话人的谈话目的,并能够根据说话人的语音、语调和重音变化确定关键词说能够得体地使用话语标记,梳理对话逻辑,并结合机器人三定律辩证思考,表明自己的观点读1.阅读科幻小说,了解科幻小说的语言特点和故事情节,结合机器人三定律,思考“人与机器人的关系”,并发表自己的观点;2.阅读科幻故事,抓住时间旅行主题,理解、赏析科幻作品,分析语篇在修辞和语言上的特点写1.能运用科幻主题相关的词汇介绍喜欢的科幻作品;2.能够大胆想象,注重细节描写,传遍自己“时间旅行”的故事看观看“神秘的麦田怪圈”的视频,感受地球上出现的类似的“怪圈”现象,培养大胆想象,客观认知事物的精神,发展批判性、创新性的思维品质学习能力1. 能够运动比较、对比等策略并结合维恩图分析人物特征; 2. 能够利用话语标记和构词法,构建词汇语义网络。

      文化意识1.了解中外具有代表性的科幻作家及作品,进一步理解科幻作品蕴含的主题内容与人类社会发展的现实联系;2.了解科幻作品的不同表现形式,理解科幻作品暗含的现实意义,以及对人类未来发展的预测和启示,启发对人类命运的思考; 3.通过科幻作品对人类文明和世界发展培养宏大的视野、开放包容的心态,以及愿意主动了解最新科技发展,适应科技改变生活的积极态度思维品质1.通过科幻作品,培养学生的创新思维能力;2.通过分析作品情节和续编故事,发展逻辑思维能力;3.通过对机器人和人工智能的学习和讨论,培养批判性思维能力【单元目标】By the end of the unit, we will be able to:1. introduce famous science fiction writers and their works about artificial intelligence, alien, time travel and space exploration etc. to have a primary understanding of science fiction and science;2. explore the relationship between robots and humans to voice opinions on robots and AI;3. design a robot or an AI device from the aspects of name, appearance, personality, specific function and etc. by studying the 271BAY materials;4. reconstruct all the related knowledge and information on science fiction by Group Articles Reading and Unit Test and form your own idea about science fiction.【单元任务】As the Science Festival in our school is approaching, students are expected to participate in a competition about science fiction.
