      环节 2新课学习1让学生思考教材第58 页上方 “ THINK ABOUT IT ” 的两个问题,然后和自己的同桌讨论2让学生浏览一遍文章,了解文章的主旨大意3学生再次阅读文章并勾画出文中的重点单词、短语及句子,然后教师一一进行讲解4让学生仔细阅读文章,把网络的优缺点分别填写在活动1 的方框中 教师邀请学生分享自己的答案,然后全班一起核对答案5让学生浏览活动2 的问题,预测听力内容6教师播放活动2 的录音, 学生完成练习 教师请学生分享自己的答案,最后订正答案7让学生在活动3 中勾出自己认为初中生可以借助因特网做的事并给出理由8教师请学生分享自己的答案及看法,然后教师予以点评9要点点拨1)People are able to connect and share information in seconds. be able to do sth. 意为“能够做某事”,主要指通过努力而获得的能力,有人称和时态的变化例: Will you be able to come tomorrow ?明天你能来吗?【链接】情态动词can 也表示“能,会”,只有现在时can 和过去时could 两种时态,没有人称变化。

      in seconds 短时间内;几秒钟之内例:You just need to press the button and it will start in seconds.你只须触摸按键,它就会在几秒内启动2)It helps us get things done more quickly. get sth.done 意为“完成 /做完某事 ” ,通常由自己完成此外, get/ have sth.done还有“让某人做某事”的意思例:I am going to get/have my hair cut. 我要去剪发3)And if a friend lives far away,the Internet makes it easy to stay in touch. “make it adj.(for sb.) to do sth.”意为“使做某事(对某人来说 )变得”例:The teacher tried to make it easy for the students to learn math. 老师尽力使数学对学生们来说学起来容易10学以致用汉译英 ) (1)我能够独立做这项工作。

      Im able to do the work all by myself. (2)我们会坚持不懈,直到这项工作完成We will stay on it until we get the work done.
