简洁地说，climes与skies同义walks in beauty就是表示“步态美丽” 或“舞姿翩翩”被直译成“走在美的光影里”，“在美中穿行”，“身 批漂亮而行”，好像都不妥 And all that’s best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes; 〔all是主语，不及物动词Meet是谓语，表示“会面”、“合在一起”、“融汇”；that’s best of dark and bright 是定语从句，that’s即that is. Thus mellowed to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies. 不及物动词mellowed (to)表示“变得柔软”；形容词gaudy表示“华美而俗气的”、“华而不实的”、“故弄玄虚的”，是贬义Deny这里也是不及物动词，因为用了介词to 请留意：仅mellowed是一般过去式，表示某一过去发生的行为它前面跟它并列的动词 Meet与后面定语从句的动词denies都是一般此时此刻式表示“一般或经常的状态或事实”。

多一道阴影，少一缕光线， 都会有损于这无名之美； 美在她缕缕黑发间飘带， 也在她颜面上洒布柔辉； 愉悦的思想在那里颂扬， 这种圣寓所的纯净名贵 安详，和婉，富于情态—— 在那脸颊上，在那眉宇间， 迷人的笑容，照人的光荣， 显示温情伴随着芳年， 安静的、涵容一切的胸怀， 蕴蓄着真纯爱情的心田！ 最近我从网上读到两种新的译文：一篇是吕志鲁先生的，另一篇是曹明伦先生的我认为，与查先生的译文不同，这两篇译文比拟多地采纳了“意译”有网友对这两篇做过细致深化的引荐与评论这里请读这两篇译文： 一、吕志鲁先生的译文： 《她在美中徜徉》 她在美中徜徉， 她在美中穿行； 象深邃的苍穹缀满繁星， 象皎洁的夜空万里无云 明和暗多么协调 深与浅恰如其分； 白昼的光线过于炫耀， 柔软的夜色最为温馨 美汇入她的举止， 美溶入她的眼神； 美在乌黑的发际游弋， 美在绚丽的脸上逡巡。

不多一丝辉光， 不少半点柔阴； 包涵的思绪弥足宝贵， 潜藏的心灵更加香醇 在脸蛋，在眉宇， 无言胜似有声； 那里可以体察心绪的安静， 那里可以领悟情感的温存 那折服人心的微笑， 那淡淡泛起的红晕， 诉说着度过。
