e.g. She is pleased to talk with you.pleasant 形容词，“令人愉快的，高兴的” 主语是物 e.g. The movie is pleasant. （2）辨析receive ,accept与take recieve 表示被动接受 e.g. He received a letter yesterday. accept 表示主动而且高兴的接受 e.g. We accept her invitation. take 表示有人赠给 e.g. He takes anthing he is given.(3)even though=even if “即使……”，引导让步状语从句，不能与but 连用e.g. Even though it’s raining hard, the farmers are still working on the farm. （4）fifteen-year-old “15岁的”是一个复合形容词，修饰名词e.g. My 6-year-old brother is a lovely boy. （5）from north to south “从北到南”（注意north和south前不用冠词）。
