Grass shears • Problems frequently occur when cutting grass with manual shears. • The grass is crushed between the blades instead of being cut. • In order to counteract this effect, very strong springs are used to press the blades together. • The design with a servo system helps to solve these cutting problems. • The more grass is cut, the tighter the blades are pressed against each other. • When the grass has been cut, the lever mechanism presses the blades apart again. Tupperware garlic press Nowadays garlic is part of our cookery and our lives. Mostly the garlic is crushed in a garlic press before use.Cooking and the objects we surround ourselves with are always a direct expression of the world we life in.The design of Tupperware garlic press combines a specific notion of product aesthetics.The Tupperware garlic press re-interprets this kitchen tool. Not only does it crush garlic cloves effectively; it also makes them easier to peel by cracking the skin and cuts the ends off.The lever action is smooth and easy, requiring minimum effort. To clean the garlic press, the hinged sieve can be simply tilted out. ( see Figure 2. 1-11)。
