Firstly, this paper discusses the purpose of the recovery section, development in the world, the market prospects and production methods. To find the information of the production installations in the extractive distillation column with water as solvent process, the main purpose is the separation of acrylonitrile and acetonitrile. This article focuses on the acrylonitrile recovery section including process principles and processes discussing. Process parameters of material balance, heat balance and computing equipment, and equipment selection are based on the calculated data. Process controling, "three wastes" are described.
