T:Can you find the differences?(找不同)同学们用英文陈述不同点设计意图:主要是为了让学生们理解differences的含义)2、屏幕上展示一些单复数单词:pen pens eraser erasers marker markers desk desks book booksT: Can you find the differences?学生们总结单数与复数的不同设计意图:再次理解differences的含义及用法为本课的新授教学做铺垫)出示句子总结两列词的不同点:These words have no s. These words have an s.出示书中第一部分的铅笔图及句子:This is one pencil. These are many pencils.学生们读一读,找到pencil及pencils的不同点再出示椅子图,让学生说出单复数的句子:This is a chair. These are many chairs.然后学生们写下来设计意图:不仅照例子会说句子,还能写句子,练习说和写的能力)教师手指pencil,chair,师生共同总结:These words have no s.指pencils,chairs总结:These words have an s.学生们说一说类似这样变复数的名词。
出示书中第二部分的盒子和公共汽车的图及句子,学生试读:This is a box.These are many boxes. This is a bus. These are three buses. 教师手指box,bus,再手指boxes,buses,示意学生们找不同,并总结出来:These words have no es. These words have an es.出示其它一些变复数加es的单词,拓宽学生的知识面,如:class,dress,fox,ox,watch,witch,dish,fish,学生们通过读,小组讨论,得出如下结论:以s,x,ch,sh结尾的名词变复数,要在末尾加es.(设计意图:教学要循序渐进,最主要是要学生掌握变复数的规则)做一个填空的练习内容如下:We have many box____.I am washing the dish____.I like those dress____.There are many bus____ in the city.The school has many class____.出示一个西红柿的图,T:What’s this? Ss:It’s a tomato.出示多个西红柿的图,T:What are these? They are tomatoes.出示土豆,学生说出句子:This is a potato. These are potatoes.看照片的句子:This is a photo. These are photos.T:Do you see an s or an es in these words?手指tomatoes,potatoes and photos,Can you find the differences?学生们发现tomato,potato要加es变复数,而photo却加s变复数,告之学生要特殊记忆。
出示其它以o为结尾的单词,拓宽知识面学生们说一说,读一读出示第4部分的课文,小组内试着读一读回答如下问题:What is the woman doing?What are the women doing? What is the child doing? What are the children doing? Can you find the differences?同学们回答问题,得出结论:man—men, woman—women, child—children教师手指这些单词,告诉学生们:They are irregular plurals.Please remember them specially.T:I’ll show you some others.出示more irregular plurals.(foot——feet people——peopletooth——teeth deer——deerwife——wives family——familiesmouse——mice baby——babies)师生共同读一读T:你学会了几种名词变复数的方法呢?小组内讨论,之后小组内出代表阐述一下,其他同学可以补充。
教师与同学们共同总结这些方法检验学生们名词变复数的方法掌握得如何?出示一些杂乱无章毫无联系的单词,由每组组员先讨论如何变复数,之后告之全班同学,你通过讨论,知道了什么?最后欣赏歌曲“The Rain Song”,如果会唱可以和音乐一起唱,如果不会,可以欣赏在音乐声中结束这堂课Step Three:Homework总结所有名词变复数的方法,在每一类下写出自己所掌握的符合这类变复数方法的单词。
