With the ecological crisis worsening, elaborating and interpreting the ecological thoughts in Walden systematically and comprehensively holds practical significance.   This paper intends to give an Eco-critical study of Walden through text analysis and probe into the profound ecological implications reflected in this work. Through an in-depth analysis and research of the ecological thinking, this paper intends to enhance the ecological consciousness of the relationship between man and nature, and make people realize the seriousness of the problem in their living situation and the necessity of caring about the earth in crisis.
