In order to provide higher-quality service, the translator should continually seek after improvements. With the international economic growing, so how to make full use of business English words to obtain the biggest economic benefit under the premise of in the respect for international economic cooperation is a problem that each foreign trade enterprise has to take into consideration. In this paper, some notable pragmatic features of the business English words are briefly analyzed and discussed.Business English vocabulary has its own peculiarities which can be generally summarized as the following: concentrated in technical terms, written form. The translation criteria of business English words also has its own particularities and this paper highlights the “accuracy principle” and “unity principle”. The meanings of the first three types of words are fixed and reflect few emotional feelings. The translator can translate those words by looking up the dictionary. As to the common words, which are flexible and having rich meaning, when used in different field or different context they may have different meanings. But there have some word are difficult to translate.The domestic enterprises also face to contact directly with other countries’ enterprises. In the process of learning business English, we often for some vague words produce misunderstanding, sometimes because of some words in business English meaning different from that of other occasions. But also sometimes we lack of some Business English background knowledge; research and study the special word. We also can master some knowledge of vocabulary.
