10页MODULE 2 TEACHING PLAN Content:Module 2 Me,my parents and my friends [ Junior 1 , New standard English]一、题材内容本模块以学生和他们的父母,朋友为中心,以他们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业为话题十分符合学生的实际刚刚升入中学的学生彼此还不很熟悉,有必要相互了解教学中应结合学生生活实际情况,灵活掌握教学过程,组织教学内容,丰富学生知识,拓展学生视野二、教学目标1) 语言知识:语音/p/ /b/ /t/ /d/ /k//g/词汇parent, can, basketball, piano, table, tennis, ride, horse, welcome, international, factory, hotel, university, hospital, office, doctor, worker, manager, secretary, photo词组Play basketball, ride a bike, play the piano, be from语法1动词can 表示能力的肯定,疑问与否定形式; 灵活运用,提高综合运用能力。
2. this 和these的用法功能自我介绍话题以学生和父母,朋友为中心,以他们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业为话题2) 语言技能:听听懂所擅长的体育项目的简短对话,提高学生实际应用能力说能利用can 做自我介绍或询问对方做什么事情;流利的说出含有本模块生词、短语读能读懂关于介绍人物职业的简单文章 进行简单的阅读技能训练写1.能写出有关职业和擅长的简短的句子2.能分清大小写及正确使用句号演示与表达能在同学之间进行真实的相互介绍.3)学习策略学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力认知联系,归纳,推测等技能调控从同伴处得到反馈,对自己在叙述及作文中的错误进行修改交际学习运用恰当词语介绍 擅长的体育运动和从事的职业资源通过其他资源获取更多自我介绍的信息自学策略培养话题和词汇的语言域意识,形成话题联想的习惯合作学习策略掌握询问和澄清策略掌握搭配策略4)文化意识:中外对比了解不同国家的语言差异,能从不同的拼写当中判断是哪种语言,如汉语,阿拉伯语,俄语等5)情感态度: 说话时要尊重对方的习惯,让对方感觉舒服,借以培养良好的情感.参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。
6)任务: 能够运用所学句型结构向不同的朋友咨询情况或介绍自己的情况. 三、教学重点和难点 重点:1.如何使用地道的英语介绍人们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业礼貌的进行日常对话2.动词can 表示能力的肯定,疑问与否定形式; 难点:能用恰当地道的英语介绍人们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业四、教学方法基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“P—T—P”自主学习立体模式:pre-task…task-cycle…post-task五、教材处理核心任务:能够运用所学句型结构向不同的朋友介绍人们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业三个环节如下:pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,task –cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化“介绍人们擅长的体育运动和从事的职业的表达能力,为完成任务做好铺垫post-task):达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况六、教材安排根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为5课时:Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary & pronunciation Period 2 Vocabulary and Reading Period 3. Speaking and Writing Period 4. Language in use Period 5. Around the world &Module Task Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary& pronunciation Teaching Content : Listening and Vocabulary & pronunciation Teaching Aims and Demands:1. Language Knowledge Key vocabulary: parent, can, basketball, piano, table, tennis, ride, horse, welcome, international Key structure: can, can`t I`m from…(重点) 2, Listening skill: To process information of sports in listening.. Improve the students’ listening ability. (难点)3.Affection and attitudes: We should respect the other people . .Learning strategies:Bottom –up ,Interactive approach and listening the tape and do some exercises.Teaching Aids :Multi-Media (Tape recorder , video, OHP, handout)Teaching Procedures:Part I Part I: Revision Task:Help students to revise what is learnt in last module. Directions:1. The students introduce themselves each other . eg. S : My name is ×××.What’s your name? S: ×××S::How are you,×××? S :Fine ,thank you. And you 2. Bring some pictures of famous people from China , England and America into class.Talk about them.His name is …He is from…He is 24 years old.Part II: Lead in: 1 .activity 1on page 8 Task: Match the words with the picturesDirections:Step one: Read through the words in the box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you chorally and individually.Step two :Ask the students to do activity 1on page 8. Step three: Check their answers with a partner. Step four : Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.Step five: Summarize :Part III: Listening and VocabularyTask : To understand conversations .Improve the students’ listening ability .1 .activity 2 on page 8 Directions:Step one: Explain that the students have to check in the boxes of the avtions which Lingling says she can do.Step two : Play the recording once while they just listen. Step three Play the recording once again for them to Check the answers with a partner.. Step four : Play the recording once again for them, then once again to check. with a partner..Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.Step five: Summarize : Ask the students to call out the answers with a partner.2. Activity 3.on page 8. .Task: Listen and read: Directions:Step one: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and read the conversation.Step two : Play the recording again and pause after each phrase, asking the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually.Step three: Put the Ss. into groups of 4 to practise the dialogue. Step four: They should repeat it several times, changing the roles each time.4. Listen and check the true sentences Directions:Step one: Explain by saying “This activity is designed to check if you have understood the main ideas of the activity. It`s not necessary to learn every new word.” Step two : Ask the Ss. to listen and decide which sentences are true Step three: Play the recording once again for them, then once again to check. with a partner..Call back the answer in a whole- class setting.
