But the book I read is printed by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press in 1997. The book has 283 pages.Main ContentsThe novel happened around Robinson Crusoe. At first, He had a happy family and entered a good school. His parents hoped that he could get a good job. However, he didn’t want that. He wanted to adventure and have an exciting life. When he told his parents that he wanted to be a sailor and would go to sea, his parents were angry. But he never forgot his ambition. In 1651 he with his friend went to Hull by sea. They adventured a strong wind and a heavy rain. At first he was afraid. Then he didn’t want his friends and his family to laugh at him, so he began to go on with his second time. They met the famous thieves of the sea at that time. The thieves wanted to sell them as slaves but in the end the Turkin capitan decided to keep Robinson for himself as a salve. Then he and a boy named Xury escaped from the Turkin’s control. He met with a Portuguese captain, who would go to Brazil. Robinson came to Brazil with the Portuguese captain. There he began to have a new life. But soon he was bored again. His friends were going to Africa to do business. He went with them again. They met a terrible storm. His friends were all dead. Only Robinson survived and was thrown onto a lonely island.…… …… 篇二 :鲁滨逊漂流记读后感英文版84 My thoughts about Robinson CrusoeWhen I study at a primary school, I read Robinson Course first time. And I have to say, I was deeply attracted by the adventure story at that time.Generally speaking, Robinson is a person who is very brave, forceful and aggressive.Crusoe sets sail from the Queen's Dock in Hull on a sea voyage in August 1651, against the wishes of his parents, who wants him to pursue a career, possibly in law. After a tumultuous journey where his ship is wrecked in a storm, his lust for the sea remains so strong that he sets out to sea again. This journey, too, ends in disaster as the ship is taken over by sale pirates and Crusoe is enslaved by a Moor. Two years later, he escapes in a boat with a boy named Xury; a Captain of a Portuguese ship off the west coast of Africa rescues him. The ship is en route to Brazil. Crusoe sells Xury to the captain. With the captain's help, Crusoe procures a plantation. In my opinion, Robin is the true prototype of the British colonist. The whole Anglo-Saxon spirit in Crusoe: the manly independence, the unconscious cruelty, the persistence, the slow yet efficient intelligence, the sexual apathy, the calculating taciturnity. This is achieved through the use of European technology, agriculture and even a rudimentary political hierarchy. Several times in the novel Crusoe refer to himself as the 'king' of the island, whilst the captain describes him as the 'governor' to the mutineers. At the very end of the novel the island is explicitly referred to as a 'colony'. The idealized master-servant relationship Defoe depicts between Crusoe and Friday can also be seen in terms of cultural imperialism. Crusoe represents the 'enlightened' European whilst Friday is the 'savage' who can only be redeemed from his barbarous way of life through assimilation into Crusoe's culture. Nonetheless Defoe also takes the opportunity to criticize the historic Spanish conquest of South America.篇三 :鲁滨逊漂流记读后感(英语)Robinson was born in a middle class family. His father always teaches him that contentment makes happiness. However, Robinson didn’t think so! He want to go outside to see the beautiful world and adventure .As he said, he would be satisfied with nothing but go to Sea . Eventually, he succeeded in going to sea. Nonetheless, he came across heavy storm and almost lost his life .It seemed that God was against him .Next, he was arrested by Moors. Then, he was sold as a slave. Finally, he run out and became a painter. However, he would never live his life quietly as this way .for more money, he went to sea again. It never occurred to him that he began his twenty-eight-year life in a wasted island. The boat which he was aboard was sunken for striking a reef. What is the most important is that Robinson did not give up living .he hunted, planted, built and so on. Besides, he saved an Aboriginal form a man-eater, and named him Friday. Friday became his best companion and the best sincere slave. Finally, Robinson came back to the human beings’ society. He lived a stable life from then on.…… ……
