Or do they go out? NATALIE:And we look at when people go on holiday. DAVID:(to camera) But first—the weekend. -Kevin, what do you do at the weekend? KEVIN:Well, first I get up late. DAVID:Always? KEVIN:Yes. Always. KEVIN:Every weekend I get up late. I always get up late. Saturday and Sunday, I always get up late. KEVIN:(VO) Always. Always. NATALIE:What time do you get up at the weekend? KEVIN:12 o’clock. NATALIE:12 o’clock! DAVID:That’s late. NATALIE:You don’t get up before 12 o’clock? KEVIN:Never. I always get up late. KEVIN:(firmly) I never get up before 12 o’clock. YOUNG MAN: Of course. Sit down. RACHEL:It’s nice here. YOUNG MAN: Yes, it is. What do you want to know? RACHEL:I work for an advertising agency, and I’m doing some research. But we always go out on Saturday evenings. RACHEL:I see. And now Sunday. What happen on Sundays? YOUNG MAN: Nothing special. We often go for a walk… And I always cook a big Sunday lunch. RACHEL:Oh. Twice. Three times. Four times. Five times. Six times. Seven times. Eight times. Nine times. Ten times. Eleven times. Twelve times. DAVID:How often? CIDERELLA: But I never go out. UGLY SISTER: (pointing at cooking pots on range) Cook the dinner! CINDERELLA: (dejected) I always cook the dinner. -How often do you cook the dinner? UGLY SISTER: Wash the dishes! CINDERELLA: How often do you wash the dishes? CINERELLA: (dejectedly to herself) I always wash the dishes. CINDERELLA: I always cook the dinner. CINDERELLA: I always wash the dishes. CINDERELLA AND PERINCE: We never go out. DAVID: (to camera) We don’t always work. We sometimes go out. And we sometimes go on holiday. -Natalie, how often do you go on holiday? NATALIE:Once a year. DAVID:Kevin? KEVIN:About four times a year. DAVID:(repeating in astonishment) Four times year! NATALIE:How often do you go on holiday? INTERVIEWEES: PC HILL:Probably twice a year: once in the winter, then again, a summer holiday. SHERRY MCGONEGLE: I go on holiday about 5 or 6 times a year. CHRIS SIMPSON: I try and to on holiday… er… at least 3 times a year. CHRISTINE BAHR: I take a vacation… um… about once or twice a year. NORMAN STEPHENS: I don’t very often go on holiday at all. NATALIE:How often do you eat in a restaurant? INTERVIEWERS: GENE ABBOTT: I eat in a restaurant about twice a week. PATSY SEDDEN: Um, at least once or twice a wee。
