    • Lesson 11 To China,with LoveThe Story of Norman BethuneIn 1938, Bethune found that there was a war between China and Japan. As a communist, he made up his mind to help Chinese. He went to Yanan, Shanxi Province. He not only saved peoples lives, but also taught people how to become a good doctor. In 1939, more and more Chinese people needed his help, so he became busier and busier. One day, we got bad news. When he was operating on a soldiers arm, his finger was sliced by a knife suddenly. He ignored it and continued to work. Unluckily, he was infected and couldnt be treated to save his life. Two weeks later, Dr. Norman Bethune passed away. He was buried in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.活动一将全班学生分成几个活动小组,组内每名同学说出一句有关白求恩的语句,最后组成一篇小短文叙述白求恩的生平事迹。

      活动二分组讨论课文中讲述的内容,小组成员就课文内容互相提问1.教学方法 (1)情景教学法: 展示课题及白求恩的雕像、他的故居、正在抢救战士及与中国人民一起抗日的四幅图,让学生感知白求恩2)自主学习法: 让学生就这四幅图进行分组讨论,谈谈他们所了解的白求恩先在组内交流,再选两到三组在班上交流,然后听录音,全面感知白求恩听后回答:“When and where was Bethune born?”和“When did Bethune come to China?”(3)任务型教学法: 展示代表白求恩生平的关键词语,然后让学生用自己的话介绍白求恩 (4)合作学习法: 分别展示白求恩与毛主席会面、对中国医护人员进行指导、正在抢救伤员及与中国人民一起抗日的四幅图并开展师生讨论,讨论以下问题:“Why did Bethune come to China?”“Why is Bethune famous?”“What should we learn from Norman Bethune?”2.学习方法(1)定语从句学习的关键:瞻前顾后,即往前看、往后看定语从句须有关系词来引导,而选择关系词的依据就是往前要看关系词是指人、事物、时间、地点还是原因等,往后要看先行词在从句中所充当的成分。

      如果不清楚关系词究竟充当了从句的何种成分,不妨将先行词代入从句进行还原分析2)定语从句解题步骤:第一步找出先行词; 第二步看引导词在定语从句中的语法功能(作主语、宾语或状语); 第三步选择合适的关系词。
