He’s strong.He has short hair. She’s ⅹⅹⅹ.She’s thin. She’s quiet.She has long hair. 对于本课时的重点句型 What’s his name?可以通过旧句型 What’s your name?来引出。
而为了丰富教学,本课时将加入句型 What’s her name? Her name is…以便学生描述朋友时有更广的拓展空间Step 1: Warm-up1.问答练习:Who's your best friend?2.做“猜人”的游戏让一个学生描述班里某一个同学的模样,其他同学来猜这个人是谁尽量多做几组,练习句型 Who's he/she? He/She is …..(设计意图:活动复习、巩固描述人物的词汇和句型,并为下面的会话教学作好铺垫)Step 2:Presentation1.新课导入教师先自我介绍英文名 My name's ….,然后提问一名男生 What's your name?该名学生回答问题后,教师对大家说:His name is… He is…教师问学生:What's his name? 启发学生回答:His name is...教师继续指其他男生,让学生回答:What's his name? 教师再指另一个男生,让一个学生问 What's your name?另一个学生回答 His name is..(多做几组)2.教师指着一个女生说:She's… Her name is… 然后问学生:What's her name?让学生试着回答:Her name is…教师再指几个女生问:What's her name? 让学生两人一组做What's her name? Her name is…的问答练习。
3. 听音猜人教师让猜迷的人到前面来,背对全班,然后让一位学生站起来用英语跟他说一句话猜的学生要根据说话人的声音判断性别 A boy? A girl?其他学生判断 Yes或 No如果回答对了,全班同学再问:What's his/her name? 猜的学生要继续回答出说话人的姓名全班同学用 Yes.或 No 来判断对错猜的学生规定有 5 次机会,猜对的有礼物如果回答 5 次还猜不出来,就算输了 (小礼物是学生熟悉的动画人物照片)(设计意图:改变枯燥,乏味的操练方法,通过猜一猜游戏对句型进行趣味操练并为下一环节做好铺垫 )4.插入 Good to know 教学:教师在赠送学生礼物的同时,示意学生打开礼物看看并提示学生说:Thank you.(必要时用中文解释赠送礼物时的礼节) T:That’s OK.This is your new friend. This is his/her photo.5.教学 photoa.引入: 从赠送礼物“photo”的时候引出该单词教读单词 photo→This is his/her photo.b.操练:学生举起新朋友的照片介绍 I have a friend. This is his/her photo.(设计意图:通过向学生赠送卡通人物的照片,自然引入新单词 photo 的教学。
)6.教师出示 John 的面具问:What' s his name? 学生回答 John.教师再出示他妈妈的面具,说:She is John's mother. John is talking about his Chinese friend to his mother. 解释Chinese. 教师:We are all Chinese, because we are all from China.(这时教师可以指一指教室里的国旗,帮助学生理解) 教读单词 Chinese7.带问题听录音,问题:a.John has a Chinese friend.What's his name?b.Is he tall and strong?回答问题之后跟读对话 (在跟读的过程中教师解释单词 too教师:… is ten. … is ten, too. I have a friend, you have a friend too.)(设计意图:激发学生好奇心,要学生带着问题,有目的地听录音,培养听力.)8.让学生表演课文对话以及编新对话表演 (设计意图:使学生进一步了解、掌握课文内容,增强学习效果,提高学习兴趣。
)Step 3: Add-activitiesRead and draw:出示短文,学生阅读并逐个上台,每人一笔,把画制作完整,并给画出来的人物起一个名字各组派一名代表来汇报,对画进行展评短文:I have a friend. He is a boy. He has a big face, a small nose, a big mouth and small eyes.
