Tourism ResourcesZhangjiajie is known for its unique tourist resources and as a treasure trove of natural resources. Surrounding the city are the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Suoxi Gully Reserve, with the Maoyan River, Nine-Heaven Cave, Five-Thunder Mountain, and the Universal Light Temple further afield. More than 20 scenic spots have been explored, and more than 30 tourist routes have been formed. The park was established to be the first forestnational park in China in 1982. Together with the Suoxi Valley, Tianzi Mountain andYangjiazhai Scenic Ranges, they compose of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, which waslisted in the World Heritage Directory by UNESCO and became a world-famous heritagein 1992. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is famous for its queer rocks.Over thousands peaks are in various forms. Surrounded by Suoxi Valley on the east, Zhangjiajie on the south, Sangzhi County on the north, Tianzi Mountain is one of the four scenic zones in Wulingyuan. It lies on the highest point of "Golden Triangle" with an area of 67 square kilometers. The landscape in Tianzi Mountain is natural and primeval. There is nothing artificial in the area. There is a saying that " people who have climbed Tianzi Mountain will not climb any other mountains" and "It can not be said that you have been to Wulingyuan without reaching Tianzi Mountain".天子山的名称来自于一个叫向大坤的人，这个人领导了当地的农民起义，在起义后自称 为“向王天子”——天的儿子。

In the cave, we can see "cave beyond cave, tower beyond tower, sky beyond sky and mountain beyond mountain". Entering the cave, you will feel you are in a fairyland, beautiful and tranquil.黄龙洞坐落在索溪峪峡谷的东面长久以来黄龙洞享有“中华神奇洞府，世界溶洞奇观” 之美誉。

在洞里面，我们能够看到洞下洞、楼上楼的螺旋结构以及高阔的洞天、幽深的山谷 进入到洞里面，你会感觉到你来到了一个神奇，美丽，安静的境界Suoxiyu ValleySuoxiyu Valley is the center of Wulingyuan scenic zone, strecthing an area of more than 180squarekilometers and is the largest of the three zones.The mountain here is mainly composed of sandstone peaks as that in Zhangjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. In the east of the valley, there is a collection of caves, namely, Yellow Dragon Cave, Goddess Cave, etc., which are made of limestone. Referred to wild lives, Suoxiyu Valley boasts more than 20 rare species, such as, pangolins, and giant salamanders.索溪峪大峡谷坐落在武陵源景区的中央。
