(fire开火<->cease fire停火)Joan Hamburg1[1] Fresh out of (Having just graduated from) Barnard College and the Speedwriting (速记) Institute, I was hired (employed) as a secretary to the editor of Coupon〔优待券〕Magazine. Tiny (small) circulation (发行量), but a real job.
