6页《Lesson9:Arriving in Beijing》教学设计【授课教师】徐艳红【授课时间】2012.5.7【教材理解】Arriving in Beijing是冀教版五年级下册第九课,本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇,在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结,形成比较清晰的概念本课主要内容是结合men, women, children等名词,让学生学会“There be”句型的用法,说出自己在北京车站的所见,体会This is 与 There be 的不同,同时结合第一单元学过的现在进行时句型的用法,把两者结合起来设计理念】教师和学生借助“chant”的形式,复习前面学到的知识教学过程中,教师通过设置问题让学生思考并解决,培养学生学习的积极性和主动性,同时教师注重让学生进行小组合作讨论并协作表演一些小短剧,加强学生间的团结与协作,强化学生与他人合成的意识教师还通过让学生进行总结发言,为学生创造机会进行锻炼并培养自信学情简介】通过第一单元的学习,同学们已经掌握了现在进行时态的用法,句型上也比第一单元更多样化,在能力上注重对口语表达能力的提高另外学生对可数名词与不可数名词的概念不是非常明确,区分起来比较困难,可以让学生通过合作的形式进行归纳整理掌握一些词语变化的规律。
教学目标】1.知识目标:掌握单词:men, women, children, people, many;会认读单词:everyone;能运用所学知识用英语表达在火车上看到的、听到的事情2、能力目标:能熟练掌握和识记本课单词:men, women, children, people, many;能灵活运用本课所学内容,对身边的人物进行描述3、情感目标:培养良好的文化意识和英语语感,培养小组合作意识与互帮互助精神教学重点】能熟练掌握和识记本课单词:men, women, children, people, many教学方法】情景教学法、直观教学法、动作演示法教学准备】磁带、课件、自制人物头饰、单词卡片,橡皮及尺子实物课时安排】一课时【教学过程】Step1: Greetings and review.1.GreetingsT : Hello, boys and girls .Ss: Hello, teacher.T : How are you today?Ss: I`m fine, thanks. How are you?T : I`m very well, thank you. How’s the weather today?Ss:It’s sunny.T :On a sunny day,I want to go on a trip to Beijing.I’m very happy. Are you happy? Let’s have a chant.OK?Ss: OK.(通过课前师生的亲切交流,使学生集中注意力,尽快参与到课堂活动中来。
2.Chant:“What can you see?”教师和学生借助“chant”的形式,复习前面学到的知识Step 2: New Concepts PartⅠ.1. men, women, children, people, many通过呈现北京火车站的ppt课件,向学生介绍本课的课题名称⑴出示man图,T: What can you see in the Beijing Train Station? What is this?Ss:This is a\one man.板书man,用卡片操练单词和句型⑵出示men图, T:Is this a man? Ss:No. T: What are these?Ss:These are men.板书men,男女生轮读,分行读在板书中从音形两方面区别man和men.T:How many men? Let’s count.One,two,three,four.Four men.Many,many men.Read after me.利用事先准备的尺子、橡皮等实物,引导学生说出many rulers\erasers\desks\chairs\books.⑶出示woman图, T:Who is this ? This is a woman./ This is one woman. I am a woman,too. 板书woman,再拿卡片找生读。
⑷出示women图, T: What are these?Ss:These are women.T: How many women?Ss: 5 women.通过手势让学生说出many women.板书women, 在板书中从音形两方面区别woman和women.⑸逐一出示boy and girl图, T: Who is this ?Ss: This is a boy.T:A boy is a child.T: Who is this?Ss: This is a girl.T:A girl is a child ,too.板书child.⑹出示children图, T:What are these?Ss: These are boys and girls. Boys and girls are children.板书children, 在板书中从音形两方面区别child和children⑺利用黑板上的单词,将其men,women和children归纳为people一大类⑻让学生领读单词,学生们每个人都跃跃欲试想取得领读的机会,比起以往指明读更能吸引所有学生的注意力,学生的竞赛意识更加强烈,更能增强领读效果,因为孩子们都能认真倾听别人的回答,最后评出最佳领读员。
⑼Play game.教师请学生用This is a man/woman.These are men/women.句型练习老师卡片中的单词,既操练了句型,又调动了学习的兴趣同时小学生的竞争意识又一次得到了极大地激发10)学儿歌记单词利用小学生喜欢歌曲童谣的心理特点,又一次变换形式练习巩固了单词11)利用板书找学生说一说man和men,woman和women之间的转换规律进而和学生一起总结名词变复数的规律,加以引申拓展2.随课件重复跟读课文第一部分PartⅡ.1.everyone.⑴利用人物头饰表演对话,学习everyoneT:Now we arrive in Beijing. Are you tired? Let’s have a rest. Let’s act out a short dialogue.I will be Mrs. Li.Mrs. Li:Who is tired and hungry?Li Ming:I am.Danny: Me,too.Jenny: Me,too.Mrs. Li: I am tired and hungry,too.Everyone is tired and hungry.⑵讲解everyone的用法,再出题检查孩子是否能够熟练掌握其用法。
