重阳节国旗下讲话《中英文对照》　　老师们，同学们，大家上午好！　　good morning, my schoolmates and teachers.　　明天是农历九月九日，你们知道是什么日子吗？　　tomorrow is september the ninth. do you know what festival that is?　　9月9日是我们中国的传统节日--重阳节！今天我要和大家一起谈谈重阳节！　　it”s our chinese traditional festival-chongyang festival. today, i want to talk about it with all of you.　　重阳节又称为”双九节”、”老人节”，九九重阳，因为与中文”久久”同音，九在数字中又是最大数，有长久长寿的含义　　chongyang festival is also called double nine festival or elder”s day. because nine has the same sound of the chinese letter “jiu”. nine is the biggest number. it means long live.　　秋季是一年收获的黄金季节，重阳佳节，寓意深远。

古人认为这是个值得庆贺的吉利日子，并且从很早就开始过此节日　　autumn is the gold harvest season. we chinese people have celebrated it long time ago.　　重阳节的庆祝活动多彩浪漫，一般包括出游赏景、登高远眺、观赏菊花、遍插茱萸、吃重阳糕、饮菊花酒等活动唐诗宋词中有不少贺重阳、咏菊花的诗词佳作　　we can do many kinds of things on the festival. for example, go on a trip, go hiking, look at the flowers, eat “niangao” and so on.　　而今我国政府已经正式将九九重阳节定为”老年节”，敬老爱老之意十分明显中秋、国庆之际我校组织了部分学生走进区养老院，对老爷爷老奶奶进行了慰问演出，正是尊老敬老的实际行动　　now, chinese government makes this festival for the old people. during the mid-autumn day, our school students visit the nursing house. they greet the grandpas and grandmas and perform for them.　　在这吉祥的节日来临之际，让我们祝愿天下的所有老人福寿安康。
