    • 教案序号:必修五unit 3 编写时间:2011-11-5 执行时间:2011-11-18Unit 3 Life In the Future学情分析:________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________教材分析 本单元的中心话题是“谈未来”, 内容主要涉及人类对今后生活环境的想象、猜测和思考通过本单元的学习, 要让学生大胆发挥想象, 对人类今后的生活环境,生活方式进行猜测, 提倡环保生活意识话题Life in the future词汇运用词汇:impression, constant, previous, guide, lack, optimistic, desert, instant, settlement理解词汇:aspect, uncertain, opening, sideways, surroundings, tolerate, adjustment, mask, press, fasten, belt, flash, switch, timetable, mud,citizen, button, receiver, swallow, recycle意见:按照“运用词汇”和“理解词汇”对单元新词进行分类,是很好的进步!但是,要注意如何确定这两类词汇。

      比如:“运用词汇”可以更加精确地描述为“写作词汇”,“写作词汇”是1000基础词汇和374词汇中的词汇,其他的词汇基本上都不是学生需要掌握的“写作词汇”短语: take up, lose sight of, sweep up, slide into, speed up背诵句子:I still cannot believe that I am taking up this prize that I won last year.Worried about the journey, I was unsettled for the first few days.At first my new surroundings were difficult to tolerate.Hit by a lack of fresh air, my head ached.Exhausted, I slid into bed and fell fast asleep.You place the metal band over your head, clear your mind, press the sending button, think your message and the next instant it's sent.功能Making predictions supposing that… Do you imagine that…? I wonder that… Is it likely that…? I imagine that… Is it possible that…?I’m sure… Do you suppose that…?Perhaps/ Maybe Most likely Probably… 语法The Past Participle as the adverbial and attributeeg. Exhausted, I slid into bed and fell fast asleep. My first visit was to a space station considered the most nodern in space.建议:高中阶段的英语教学,主要是阅读理解技能和读写技能,因此每个单元的教学设计中,要十分明确阅读微技能和读写微技能的教学目标,具体阅读微技能的描述,请参见《高中英语阅读技能》给出的表格和高考考试大纲中的阅读技能。

      教案一 Warming Up, Pre-reading and comprehendingTeaching Goals: 1. To illustrate Ss’ imagination of future life.2. To arouse Ss to pay more attention to the problems that probably appeared in the future life.3. Enable the students to describe the life in the past, at present and in the future.Step 1 Lead-in (多媒体展示)Show some pictures about life in the past and life at present.(or let students enjoy a short movie about life in the future.) Let students discuss the question : What do you think future life will be like?建议:呈现的图片或者视频,最好有个范围,比如:交通、通讯、学校生活等等,这些范围的内容最好和后面的阅读内容有较强的关联,以便更好的导入课文预测和阅读理解。

      但是,太实际的想象也要给予提醒,因为这个活动要想象1000年后的生活,实在是太遥远了!完全超过了人类的想象的!如果是设计为50年之后,估计要好很多Step 3. Suggested Answers: global warming; acid rain; growing areas of desert; overlarge world population, lack of enough drinking water,建议:Warming-up不要占用过多的时间,而且,如此遥远的想象活动设计,实际上起不到打开学生想象空间的作用的,因为实在是太遥远了!因此,建议上述活动占用半节课的时间完成即可,然后就进入文章阅读活动。

      Step 4 homework: 做双语报第4期b1版的主题阅读 ReadingTeaching aims:1. To train the students’ reading ability2. Grasp some important phrases and sentences3. Stimulate the students’ interest and love for learning life in the future.Step 1: Prediction Look at the pictures on page18 and the title of the passage and predict the content. What do you think the passage will tell us?Step 2:skimming1. What’s the text about?A. An e-mail written by a man who has taken up a trip to the futureB. The man has his first try to master a hovering carriage.C. The man is surprised at the Wang ping’s home. D.
