英语新课程标准明确指 出：通过学习英语了解世界文化，培养世界意识，通过中外文化对比，加深对中国文化的理解等 等同时新课程标准在文化意识一节中则又进一步强调指出：教师应根据学生的年龄特点和认知 能力，逐步扩展文化知识的内涵和范围。
