Thus, it paves a way for further understanding of New Zealand’ culture and social activities in the part of integrating skills. Teaching background knowledge: New Zealand is an island country in the south Pacific Ocean, it is an English-speaking country.Teaching design: At the beginning of the class, there are many pictures about New Zealand to attract the attention of the students as warming-up. The next step is pre-reading. Pre-reading is a question used to practice oral speaking. While-reading is done with simple question, followed with listening. Then it is a reading process with exercises in detail. The last step is homework.Teaching goals By the end of this class,1.
