The goal is to increase the impact of education by transforming the experience.Course ContentThe Content of a course is made up of the folders, files, text, images, media, links, tests, and interactive tools assembled and organized by Class Builders and Teachers. Learning ModulesLearning Modules are used to package and present content and allow teachers to organize related class materials in a Table of Contents. All types of content, such as items, assignments, and tests can be included in a Learning Module. Learning Modules enable students to follow a structured path for progressing through content. Grade CenterThe Blackboard Learn Grade Center is a dynamic and interactive tool. The Grade Center can record data, monitor student progress, communicate information to students, parents, administrators, and other stakeholders. It is also a valuable tool to assist in making informed decisions to take action to promote student and institutional progress. Performance DashboardThe Performance Dashboard aggregates notifications for newly posted content, items ready for grading, late submissions, and customized alerts about course activities. Notification DashboardThe Notifications Dashboard displays notifications that have links to class items or class information that have been changed, submitted, created, or that have impending due dates. This allows the user to view all of the pertinent, changed information from a class. Early Warning SystemThe Early Warning System creates rules that warn users of poor performance based on attendance or Grade Center items. Adaptive ReleaseAdaptive Release controls the release of content to users based on a set of rules created by the teacher. The rules may be related to availability, date and time, individual users, group membership, scores or attempts on any Grade Center item, calculated columns in Grade Center, or review status of an item in the Class.Plagiarism PreventionSafeAssign teaches students to properly cite their resources as their assignments are submitted and verified against online databases and any materials in the Blackboard community’s global database.ePortfolioLogging InBy Friday, January 7th at 3:00 PM:•Login using the same Username and Password that you log into your computer and email.•Check to see if your Spring classes are there.•Notify Lorna Bourgeois via email if you are unable to do this at lorna.bourgeois@apsb.org with your user name and password and specific issue.AnnouncementsWhy Use ThemandHow to Add ThemWhy Use Them•Communication•Easy linksHow to Add AnnouncementsClick on Announcements in the Content areaORClick on Create AnnouncementYou need to provide a subject for the announcementType your announcement hereThis area allows you to set date restrictions.
