Review:Last lesson,we learned Jenny and her family celebrated their Thanksgiving Day,and we knew how lo say thanks fbr our important day,our important person in ours life.Now we will learn to celebrate birthday,and we will learn to make birthday card.3.Step 2. Lead in.1 .Greet the students in English and make sure they can response correctly. Do the duty report: a student on duty can say whatever he/she likes to say.2.Ask some Ss talk about the following questions:Have you ever sent a birthday card?What do people usually write in birthday cards?Step 3. New lesson.No. 1 prepare lessons before class.Teach the new words and phrases.make sure the Ss can read it correctly.No. 2 Text:Give them some time to read the text themselves. Then let them act out the dialogue in groups. Correct their pronunciation when necessary.Ask some Ss talk about the following questions:1 .What does Jenny write in Li Ming's card?2. How old is Li Ming?3. What does the sentence “but she has no luck^mean?4. Where do they go to get some stamps?At last,the teacher explain the text in Chinese,make sure the Ss can understand the meaning of text.No.3Important sentences:1 Jenny passes him a card.詹妮递给他一张卡片。

Remember me when you wear my gift!best wishes to sb.的用法:(1) best wishes to sb.意为“把最美好的祝愿送给某人”向某人表达祝愿时介词 用to;向节日致意时,用介词for2) wish后接山at引导的同位语从句和表语从句,从句要用虚拟语气,即谓语动 词用(should) +动词原形"形式3) wish作“祝愿”讲时,要用复数形式when引导时间状语从句No.4 Grammar:Review the Grammar:Adverbial Clause with “when、', Possessive Case.No. 5Finish the practice "Let's Do It!"Step 4. Play the tape for the Ss to follow.Make the Ss listen the text,then let them read follow the tape.Step 5.Summary.Sum up the text what we learnedjhe new words,phrases,and sentences.Sum up the grammar.Step 6.
