      专题二通过讲述哥白尼是如何发现太阳中心学说的,帮助学生理解文章主旨大意,并会寻求解决问题的方法,同时提高阐明自己观点的能力专题三拓展阅读,让学生掌握一些阅读技巧主要学习方式:情景学习,问题学习,合作学习,探究学习预期的学习效果:学生能够利用上网查询有关霍乱的知识,要求以小组合作的形式完成培养他们用英语交流的能力主题单元学习目标知识与技能:本单元的学习重点是让学生学会如何来描述人物,并通过阅读John Snow 来了解他是如何战胜霍乱的通过阅读进一步掌握阅读技巧过程与方法:1.通过问答使学生回想起不同领域的科学家,了解科学家们对人类的贡献及其成果2. 介绍英国著名医生John Snow 是如何通过考察,分析,探究的科学方法,发现并控制“霍乱”这种传染病的通过阅读课文,使学生感悟科学家的周密观察,勇于探索,认真分析的科学精神,了解科学发现的全过程具有其科学的严密性情感态度与价值观:1.培养学生自己动手能力,从网上下载有关自己感兴趣的科学家的文字材料和图片,用简单英语讲述其事迹2. 通过问题帮助学生理解文章主旨大意,学会寻求解决问题的方法对应课标本单元通过介绍John Snow,钱学森,哥白尼,让学生对科学家的生活有所了解和感悟。
