These (pluralistic) cultures can be categorized/classified as cultural celebrities (home and abroad) as Bi Sheng, Lao She, Shakespeare and Einstein, (philosophical) concepts as Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, benevolence, ritual, humanism, enlightenment, post-modernism and deconstruction, as well as performing arts as Peking opera, Kung-fu and Swan Lake. We are informed that the cultural “hot pot” is both delicious/tasty and nutritious.The purpose of the author/cartoonist is to show us that (instead of being outdated and of little value in the modern world), culture blending/culture integration should be encouraged and maintained. On the one hand, multi-cultures are parts of the precious/universal heritage of humanity(the world) and they are powerful tools/means of bringing together diverse/various people and social groups. Accordingly, culture integration has become necessary/indispensable as an approach of promoting further cultural exchange and development. On the other hand, for China and many other countries, there is a danger that ancient customs and fine traditions may become lost/extinct (in the shadow of modernization). If Peking opera ever disappeared/vanished from the earth, it would be a tragedy for human being and would bring about the “cultural desert”.Personally, multi-culture can be kept alive by careful preserving and is extremely vital (in ensuring a community’s future development and prosperity). With constant efforts by governments at all levels, growing interests overseas, as well as the increasing awareness of the general public, the future/prospect of culture blending looks promising and more secure than ever before.。
