Unit 3 Language in usethat引导的宾语从句引导的宾语从句 在复合句中充当宾语的句子，称为宾语从句宾语从句主要可以分为三类：that引导的宾语从句，whether/if引导的宾语从句，以及who, when, where等特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句在本模块我们学习that引导的宾语从句的用法1. that引导的宾语从句的用法引导的宾语从句的用法 （1）当充当宾语从句的句子为陈述句时，该从句通常由that来引导that没有任何实际意义，只是有连接的语法功能，目的是使读者清楚后面的句子是作前面动词的宾语，在口语或非正式的文体中that可省略如： ①He knew （that） he was wrong. 他知道他是错的 ②He told me （that） he would go to college the next year. 他告诉我他明年上大学 （2）并非所有的动词后都可以接that引导的宾语从句，常接that引导的宾语从句的动词有：say, think, wish, hope, imagine, wonder, know, suppose, see, believe, agree, admit, expect, explain, order, understand, promise, feel, dream, suggest, hear, mean, notice, prefer, report等。

如： ①The boy believes that he will travel throu-gh space to other planets. 这个男孩相信他可以穿越太空去其他的星球 ②The teacher said that we should hand in our reports by the end of this week. 老师说我们应该在这周结束前上交我们的报告 2. that引导宾语从句的特殊情况引导宾语从句的特殊情况（1）当主句谓语动词是think, believe, suppose, expect等词，并且主句的主语是第一人称，而宾语从句表示否定含义时，常把否定成分转移至主句中完成反意疑问句时，疑问部分的主语和动词应与从句的主语和谓语保持人称、时态及数的一致如： I don’t think it is right for him to treat you like that, is it? 我认为他那样对你是不对的，不是吗？ （2）当it代替that引导的宾语从句作形式宾语时，that一般不能省略如果在that引导的宾语从句中又含有从句时，that一般不省略。
