Unit 1-3 比较级和最高级【知识梳理】△ 形容词的比较级和最高级大多数形容词有原级、比较级和最高级三种形式1. 形容词比较级和最高级的结构（1） 单音节词与部分双音节词的变化规则：①一般在词尾加-er变为比较级，加-est变为最高级short - cheaper - shortest；cheap - cheaper - cheapest②以e结尾的词直接加-r，-st变为比较级和最高级late - later - latest；nice - nicer - nicest③以辅音字母加y结尾的词，变y为i，再加-er，-est变为比较级和最高级early - earlier - earliest；healthy - healthier - healthiest④以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词，先双写末尾的辅音字母再加-er和-est变为比较级和最高级thin - thinner - thinnest；big - bigger - biggest（2） 多音节和部分双音节词，在其前加more，most变为比较级和最高级beautiful - more beautiful - most beautiful；careful - more careful - most careful（3） 不规则变化的形容词有：good/well - better - best；bad/ill - worse - worst；many/much - more -most；little - less - least【拓展】有些形容词有两种比较级和最高级的变化方式。

Which sport do you like better, football or basketball? 你更喜欢哪项运动，足球还是篮球?④副词比较级前可加much，a lot，far，even，a little等修饰成分来表示程度或加强语气 Tony jumps much higher than Jim. 托尼跳得比吉姆高得多。
