许多”表达何其多在英文中，将这些表示“许多，很多”的词组按其用法归类：一、只能修饰名词复数形式 many、 a great/good many 、a great/large number of 、scores of、dozens of和quite a few ,这类“许多”修饰作主语的名词时，谓语动词用复数eg I‘m quite busy; I have many things to do There are a great/good many English books in our school library. A great number of my friends have been to the Great Wall.
