The spandrel girders are in turn supported by the perimeter columns. The floor framing system consists of structural steel beams acting compositely with reinforced concrete slabs on metal deck.       The main function of the belt-trusses is to reduce the perimeter column sizes; moreover, they can help provide lateral resistance and increase structural redundancy. The belt trusses transfer loads from the intermediate exterior columns to the mega-columns, minimizing the intermediate column sizes and reducing differential vertical displacements between the adjacent columns. Serving as “virtual outrigger trusses”, the belt trusses also reduce the overturning moment carried by the concrete core, hence reducing the thickness of the core walls, and increasing the overall lateral stiffness of the building.       2. 由型钢混凝土柱和钢筋混凝土梁组成的周边框架 3. 连接核心筒和巨型柱的两道两层高的型钢伸臂桁架,与位于周边的环桁架 The lateral load resisting system of the Reinforced Concrete Structural Scheme consists of the following components: 1. the reinforced concrete services core; 2. the perimeter moment frame consisting of composite columns and reinforced concrete beams; and 3. two sets of 2-story deep steel outrigger trusses which couple the services core to the mega-columns, and the corresponding perimeter belt trusses. 这三个结构体系对重力荷载、地震荷载和风载作用提供了多重传力途径。

      只要对三个结构体系的相对刚度作出调整,我们就可控制每个结构体系所承载的剪力与倾覆力矩的比例由此,我们能够对剪力墙的厚度以及周边框架和伸臂桁架的设计作优化 The three parallel systems provide multiple load paths for gravity, wind and seismic loads. By adjusting the relative stiffness of each of the three parallel structural systems, the portion of wind and earthquake induced shear and overturning moment carried by each system can be controlled. Accordingly, the thickness of the core walls, as well as the design of the moment frame and outrigger trusses can be optimized. 钢筋混凝土结构方案的抗侧力体系见图 6 与图 7。

Outside of the services core, the floor framing span between the concrete walls of the services core and the perimeter moment frame beams.
