2016年全球开放存取期刊排名首次发布开放存取（Open Access，简称 OA）期刊作为学术出版界的一种全新模式，不断发展壮大，逐渐得到全球学术界的认同并成为各大搜索引擎和数据库收录的对象截止 2016 年 12 月，全球已有 25000 多本 OA 期刊，其中有约 4600本可以在谷歌学术 2016 年发布的 Google Scholar Metrics 中查到 h5-index为帮助研究人员和出版商更多地了解当前 OA 出版状况，开放存取图书馆（ Open Access Library，简称 OALib）对这 4600 本可查谷歌 h5 的 OA 期刊进行了领域分类，发布了 2016 年全球开放存取期刊排名（ OA Publications’ Ranking） 2016 年全球开放存取期刊排名（ OA Publications’ Ranking）As of Dec. 2016, there are more than 25,000 open access journals (OA) published around the world and only about 4600 journals are indexed by Google Scholar Metrics (h5 index) as of July 2016.
