民政事务总署内地新来港定居人士问卷调查（二年第四季）Home Affairs DepartmentSurvey on New Arrivals from the Mainland(Fourth Quarter of 2000)1. 引言1.1 民政事务总署自一九九六年 起，一直统筹和评估各政府部门和 其他机构为内地新来港定居人士所 提供的服务，并在入境事务处的协 助下，向新来港人士派发一份简单 的问卷，藉以了解他们在适应香港 生活上所遇到的困难和所需的服务 及其它有关资料二OOO年第四季 （即十月至十二月）的统计调查的主 要结果现摘录于下文1. Introduction10, The Home Affairs Department (HAD) has been coordinating and assessing services provided for new arrivals (NAs) from the Mainland by various service providers since 1996. The Immigration Department has been assisting HAD in distributing a simple survey questionnaire to new arrivals to find out their problems and needs in adapting to the way of life in Hong Kong and collect other relevant information. The major findings of the survey in fourth quarter of 2000 (Q4 2000, i.e. from October to December) are presented below.2.调查对象2. Coverage of the survey2.1 除特别指明外，本报告所指的受 访者，是来港不超过一年，年满11岁或 以上，于二OOO年第四季申请香港身分 证，并且成功接受此项问卷调查的内地新 来港定居人士。

1.1 Unless otherwise specified, respondents in this report refer to those new arrivals who arrived Hong Kong from the Mainland in the past year, aged 11 or above, applied for their HKID cards in Q4 2000, and covered by this questionnaire survey.3.有效回应率3. Effective Response Rate3. 1 在二OOO年第四季，有 15, 152名新来港人士申请身分证 收回8, 334份已填写的问卷 有504份问卷资料不全或是由来 港超过一年的新来港人士填写而 作废因此，有效的回应率为 51. 7% 主要的调查结果Major Findings3.1 In Q4 2000, 15,152 new arrivals applied for HKID cards. 8,334 questionnaires were filled and returned. 504 questionnaires were invalid as they either contained incomplete information or were returned by new arrivals arrived in Hong Kong for more than one year. The effective response rate was therefore 51.7%.本报告内的主要调查结果均以百分比 表示，并假设非填报人士与填报人士 有类似的特征。

4. 人口特征4.1 年龄与性别的分布4.1.1在二OOO年第四季，属于30 至39岁年龄组别的受访者最多，占42.1% ［见表〃4. 2 婚姻状况1.1.1 在二OOO年第四季，曾经结婚 的受访者占75.1% ［见表2J5. 来港目的5.1 绝大部分的受访者都是来港与家 人团聚的在二OOO年第四季，有关的 比率为98. 3%其他受访者来港是为了工 作、升学等目的［见表3］6. 内地居住地点6.1 绝大部分的受访者在内地的居住 地点为广东省（84. 5%），其次为福建（4. 1% ）和广西省（1.5%）［见表4］The major findings of the survey are presented in percentages in this report, assuming that the non-respondents had similar characteristics as the respondents.10.1 Demographic Characteristics10.1.1 Age-Sex Distribution10.2.1 In Q4 2000, most of respondents belonged to the age group of 30-39 (42.1%) [Table 1].10.1.1 Marital Status10.2.1 In Q4 2000, the percentage of respondents who have ever married was 75.1% [Table 2].10.2 Purpose of coming to Hong Kong10.1.2 An overwhelming majority of respondents reported that they came to Hong Kong for family reunion. The percentage in Q4 2000 was 98.3%. Others came to Hong Kong to work, pursue studies, etc. [Table 3].10.3 Place of residence in the Mainland10.1.3 The place where most respondents resided in the Mainland was Guangdong province (84.5%), followed by Fujian (4.1%) and Guangxi provinces (1.5%) [Table 4].7.居住地区10.4 District of residence in HongKong10.1.4 最多受访者在港居住的地区包括深水土步，观塘和油尖旺区［见表5］ °11.3 The districts where most respondents resided were Sham Shui Po, Kwun Tong and Yau Tsim Mong [Table 5].10.5 教育程度8.1 本节中提及的受访者是指16 岁或以上、来港不超过一年、并于 二O O O第四季申请香港身份证的 内地新来港定居人士。

8. 2 曾接受大专或以上教育 的受访者，在二OOO年第四季占 7.2%曾接受中学教育的受访者， 在二OOO年第四季占71. 1% ［见 表6］8. 3 在二OOO年第四季，有5. 8% 的受访者表示已在内地取得专业资 格当中主要为教师资格证书(27. 4% )，其次是具有大学学位及教师资格 证书(19. 5%)［见表7B］8. Educational Attainment10.1.5 Respondents in this section referred to new arrivals arrived in Hong Kong in the past year, aged 16 or above and applied for HKID cards in Q4 2000.10.1.5 The percentage of respondents who had attained post-secondary education or above was 7.2% in Q4 2000. The percentage of respondents who had attained secondary education was 71.1% in Q4 2000 [Table 6].10.1.5 In Q4 2000, 5.8% of the respondents reported that they had obtained professional qualifications in the Mainland. The major ones included teacher ' s certificate (27.4%), and university degree and teacher ' s certificate (19.5%) [Table 7B].9.就业情况10.6 Employment9. 2在二OOO年第四季，有52.5% of the respondents in Q42000 indicated that they wished to work in9.1 在二OOO年第四季，有48. 4%的受访者表示曾在内地工作 ，比上一季上升7. 6个百分点。

最 多人曾经从事的行业是批发、零售 、进出口贸易、饮食及酒店业，龙4 8A 及 8B］10.1.6 In Q4 2000, 48.4% of respondents responded that they had worked in the Mainland, with an increase of 7.6 percentage points from the previous quarter. The most popular sector was the wholesale, retail, import/export trades, restaurants and hotels [Tables 8A & 8BJ.52. 5%的受访者表示希望在香港工作 ［见表9A］他们主要希望从事批发、 零售、进出口贸易、饮食及酒店业［见 表 9B］Hong Kong [Table 9A]. The most preferred sector was the wholesale, retail, import/export trades, restaurants and hotels [Table 9BJ.11.3.1 适应香港的生活方式1. 困难1.12 在二 OOO 年第四季，98. 2% 的受访者都有信心融入香港社会 ［见表10］。

10. 1. 2在二OOO年第四季，有 64. 7%的受访者认为适应香港生活 有困难，他们感到最不适应是居住 环境［见表11B］10.2 支援服务10. 2. 1有78. 3%的受访者表示需要 支援服务［见表12A］而其中需求最 大的是协助找寻工作方面的协助 (50.4%),其次是申请租住公共房屋 (47. 0%)［见表 12B］10. A。
