Geography、climate、cities、history、culture、 religi on、traditi on、population、Ian guage> go ver nment、 politics、education、commerce、transport
及副标题??The Ming Imperial Tombs, The Qing Imperial Tombs, Preservation and recognition of the tombs?? When you arrive at your job in the morning, let the first thing you say brighte n every one, s day ・二、略读(skimming)全文??
如:第九模块Unit 2 课文??The Acropolis now??,第一段很明显 the topic sentence 就是第一句:No one has had a greater impact on Western civilization than the ancient Greeks. The Acropolis is the greatest symbol of ancient Greek civilization再如读下面这段文字,找出它的主题信息As the College En tra nee Exami nation is drawi ng near, sometimes you may feel anxious, stressful, tired and eve n afraid ・ Thats a comm on phe nomenon in this special period as we all consider our future ??seriously??・??However, its never too late to get ahead and create a miracle if you have a strong mind??.?? A strong mind creates a miracleo ??
带着任务有意识地在文中细节处或关键处做标记, 重点关注time、age、number、place等醒目的词,表 示时间先后顺序的词,如firstly (first)> secondly(??sec on d??)> the n、after that> n ext、at last> fin ally 等,表示因果关系的词,如because、therefore> thus、 as a ??result?? (of)、lead to^ cause 以及 effect 等,表 示转折的词,如but、however等,表示让步的词,如 though>although> while>as>as if/though>even if/though 等,以及表示比较的词,如similar to> different from> compare to/with> unlike 等,还有 wh?玻?who、what> when、where、why and how)疑问词等等。
Can ada —la nd of the maple tree??CategoryDetailsSizeCanada is the 1 largest country in the world・2 The Arctic is to the north; the USA is to the south; the Atlantic Ocean is to the east and the Pacific to the west.GeographyThere are frozen wastes, vast mountain ranges, enormous open plains, 3 ??rivers?? and seemingly endless forests・Populati on About 30 milli on people ・Major ??citiesTorontolt is the largest city in Canada, which is famous for the CN Tower—the tallest ?? 4 ?? in the world・Montreallt is the second largest French??speaking city in the world with a wonderful 5 of Old World and New World architecture and culture・Vancouverlt has one of the largest Chinese populations in North America and it is close to the most popular wilderness and the ski resorts・Edmontonlt is 6 to the West Edmonton Mall—the largest 7 mall in the world・Attraction Niagara Falls —670 meters in 8 and 56 meters in height・History ?r Quebec, which was originally colonized by France, was lost to the British in 1763・???r Many people left their home to seek their 9 in the gold rush shortly after gold was discovered north of Alaska ・10 The maple leaf is featured on the Canadian flag.??【参考答案】2. second 2.
