Bilingual teaching can contribute to improving my English. Before applying for FJU, I had a plan to go abroad for further study. Besides, I make friends with Taiwanese and foreigners in FJU. This exchange experience will absolutely help my future application for foreign school.As for my major, I think I should have an international view. I major in journalism and communication in my original university, which decides I should broaden my horizon and increase my life experience. Just as what I have said above, I make it in Taiwan. I attend the academic seminar in FJU, which called The New Media and Society. This seminar let me learn about New Media deeply. And in it, I see the professors, who come from Hong Kong and Macau,express their opinions on this issue. I learnt that different situations and conditions between Taiwan and mainland.I have a chance to bring special characteristics of Xi’an andHangzhou to my friends in Taiwan. At the same time, my friends in Taiwan also introduce Taiwan for me.My hometown is Hangzhou, while my school is in Xi’an. Both cities are the capital of Zhejiang province and Shaanxi province, respectively. I can introduce the features about cities to my friends and shareinteresting things in our daily life.2. Experience in TaiwanTaste different culture breath and diversity of lives in FJUThis semester I took part in many activities and Academic speeches, for instance, I went in for One day trip to ILAN, Taiwanese Culture Experiencing Field Trip, and so on, which are all hold by International Student Center. Moreover, I join institute of foreign languages’s Aerobics game. In this match, I learn that students in FJU sticktogether and work hard to perform well. I’m really appreciating of it and which gives me a good impression of the part of Taiwan.In Taiwan, it is said that there is a snack shop every three steps and a restaurant every five, which I can’t agree more. These establishments serve all kinds of Chinese food, from the roasted ducks, smoked chickens, lamb hotpot to the salty fried chicken with spices, honey ham and dry-fried eggplant, which stirs up my memories and tastes in my hometown.I also go to many different places of interest. Just take the sea of Hua Lian as an example, the scenery is fantastic and amazing to me, I like this special blue and the sky over the sea.In addition, those beautiful places, I will never neglect the friends I met here in Taiwan, I’m not going to flatter Taiwanese but they’re really friend to me.Experiencing diversity of lives in FJU while, I can also learn and see social features and ways of life in Taiwan, I want to use my camera record everything in Taiwan.Life in Taiwan will be the most special and precious memories for me !3.
